EPM launch 90s and 00s techno reissue label, ‘V-Series’

The first EP is a VA release featuring music from Oliver Way, Robert Armani and Lester Fitzpatrick.
The new EPM sub-label, ‘V-Series, stands for vintage and will take a look back at 90s and early 00s techno that was previously only ever pressed on vinyl. They’ll be digging out forgotten gems and hidden classics and remastering them for the digital age.
The inaugural EP, Chicago Connex, was originally released on EPM label boss Oliver Way’s Morpheus Productions back in 2000.
Chicago producer and Relief label mate Lester Fitzpatrick kicks things off with the jacking sounds of ’10/31/70′ before Dance Mania and Traxman affiliate Robert Armani brings signature minimal beats and distorted drums on ‘Object. Oliver Way then closes things out with two Chicago-influenced tracks – ‘Notorious’ and ‘Shuffle Rush’ both of which were released on his own imprints, Morpheus and Urban Substance.
Since 2001 EPM Music’s label has released over 90 records from pioneering voices in techno, house and electro, including Floorplan, Mark Broom and Techmarine Bottom Feeders.
