Dutch Cassette Rarities to be reissued by Knekelhuis

Over the last few years the Dutch label Knekelhuis has crafted an interesting discography. The Amsterdam-based label has just dropped a second compilation that showcases a whole array of unreleased eighties Dutch cassette music. The album artwork lives up to its predecessor. The use of a simple collage resembling an iconic Dutch street from the eighties provides a visual guide to the music on this release. Mark Van De Maat manages to compile a wide range of DIY and experimental artists such a Van Kaye, and Strung with their EMB number ‘Warschau Pact’, all assembling together to formulate the eighties Dutch cassette comp.
