Chloé Launches Lumière Noire Record Label

Parisian institute and Rex Club resident Chloé is launching her own label, Lumière Noire. Sharing the same name as her club night, it was originally set up in 2015 as an imprint of the Kill The DJ label, but the electronic music artist wants to take more creative control, with a vision for the A&R and art design. After running the Lumière Noire party at Rex since 2014, she has been overwhelmed with music demos, both from established artists and new talent, and resolved to make 2017 the year to set the label up as a separate entity. "The idea is to take the time to work on a 12" the way we would on a full album, to be a vector between artists so that they can collaborate together", says Chloé. The DJ and producer, whose work has appeared on labels including Throne Of Blood, KTDJ, My Favourite Robot and Karat over 15 years, will perform live on 2nd February 2017 for the 40th anniversary of the Pompidou Centre, Paris.
