Atp’s New Outfit Vision Fortune Stream New Liars-Esque Album

Recorded over two months in a remote Tuscany villa, Country Music is London trio Vision Fortune's debut album for ATP recordings. The album is a dark listen at best, packed with atonal chants, discordant clangs and sluggish percussive clatter. Comparisons are often derided as lazy, but there's no way of getting away with it – Country Music sounds a lot like the Liars classic They Were Wrong And So We Drowned. We feel like that's great news – our inboxes aren't exactly swamped with excellently executed no wave, and Vision Fortune have done a fine job with the record. It's doubtful you'll here it whilst wandering round Westfield in a retail trance, and for that alone we should be grateful.
