Andy Bell & synth and harp duo Masal release second single

Ride guitarist and songwriter Andy Bell has released the second single from his collaborative project with synth and harp duo Masal.

The track, titled ‘Murmuration Of Warm Dappled Light On Her Back After Swimming,’ is a stunning piece of frozen glacial guitar, waterfalls of harp, and fields of synth drones.

The collaboration between Bell and Masal was sparked by a chance meeting at a show in Chelmsford in 2022. The duo bonded over their shared love for Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders, and The London Symphony Orchestra collaboration, ‘Promises.’

Their debut album, ‘Tidal Love Numbers,’ consists of instrumental tracks featuring Andy’s guitar playing, analogue synths, and harp and will be released on May 19 on Sonic Cathedral.

Available on CD, digital platforms, and a limited cassette version which will exclusively available at the Independent Label Market in London on May 20.
