If there's somebody we'd love to get a peep in the record bag of, it's definitely Berlin-based DJ, Panorama Bar resident and label boss Paramida.

If you've caught her in action, either at P-Bar or elsewhere, you'll know full well that her sets are something of a trip; effortlessly gliding from proto-trance to Italo, from house and new wave to hypnotic techno, new beat and much more.

These influences translate into the sounds you'll hear across her label Love On The Rocks, which has been home to artists like Fantastic Man, Khidja, Elles & Violet. Last year she celebrated five years in the game with a four-part series titled Supergau, which brought together previous label mates and new faces to champion the sounds that have become the backbone of the imprint.

We get a little insight into some of Paramida's formative influences, from funky garage house to progressive and Hi-NRG...

Lama - Love On The Rocks

The first time I heard this record was probably one of the most significant moments of my musical development. Berlin is a techno city and soon after moving here, I was pretty bored by the sound of the city. A DJ that had a big impact on me at that time was Emil Doesn’t Drive and when he played this record it totally blew me away. I named my label after it.
