Zillas On Acid play London show to celebrate debut EP on Human Endeavour
Making Time residents Zillas On Acid make their debut on our sub-label Human Endeavour with ‘Rolling The Marble Wheel’; five wormhole acid cuts ready to crawl and slither their way into your ears.
To celebrate the release the Philadelphia-based duo join label boss Rosie Ama, Club SC&P co-founder Harry James and The Gun’s Nick Stephens for a special launch party on Friday 5th Jan at the Waiting Room, London.
The pair have built a reputation for their slow, dubbed-out machine jams, notching up releases for some of our favourite labels over the years, the likes of Optimo Music, Live at Robert Johnson, Running Back and Permanent Vacation, to name a few.
This new body of work continues their psychedelic sonic explorations, stretching from the slowly unfurling rhythms of ‘Apes & Aliens’ and the mind-expanding electronics of the title track to acid house freakout ‘Why/Why Not’. It’s Zillas on Acid at their best, not that we’re biased…
Get your tickets for the launch party HERE. The EP is out in full on 12th Jan – Pre-save/Pre-order now.
