Pop-Kultur returns for 2026 with expansive line up

The alternative culture festival will take place in Berlin between the 24th and 30th of August with a line up which features key names including bar italia and Avalon Emerson & the Charm.

Pop-Kultur has become a hotly anticipated event in the calendar – a creative, multidisciplinary extravaganza in Berlin which features an eclectic array of acts from all over the world which represent the future of experimental and avant-garde music amidst art, talks and everything in between.

Over the years it has received acclaim for its tasteful programming and commitment to supporting and pushing new artists.

This year the festival will play host to a broad array of talent across seven days of concerts, DJ sets, immersive performances, talks and workshops.

Key musical acts announced so far include bar italia, the hotly supported London band have become cult favourites amidst underground circles having released to acclaim on the likes of World Music and Matador. Their live sets are rare and pack a punch.

Elsewhere Avalon Emerson & the Charm will perform live, the project has been a welcome retreat from the dancefloor for Avalon Emerson who has reimagined herself and her music through songwriting and vocals.

Californian trio Automatic will also bring their ghostly take on post punk to proceedings following recent support slots for the likes of Tame Impala, IDLES and The Marías.
