Pop-Kultur announces 2025 edition with new names and venues

Taking place across six days in August, Pop-Kultur will play host to eclectic assortment of music and arts projects.

Pop-Kulture will take place between the 25th and 30th of August in Berlin and has announced a sprawling programme which will make up the 2025 edition of the acclaimed event.

The festival has become best known for its eclectic programming and diverse representation which pushes the boundaries of music culture showcasing futuristic acts and offering fresh alternatives and perspectives on creative culture.

This year artists set to perform include London group Los Bitchos, Irish punk artist Meryl Streek, dispari records boss Phuong Dan, Berlin EBM inspired group Dina Summer and post punk meets electro figurehead CURSES.

This year the event will take place across a number of venues with the festival opening on Monday and Tuesday with a high-profile talk programme in Wedding.

 

Talks will also be a prominent feature of the 2025 event and will for the first time form their own dedicated programme strand. These will be focussed across a broad array of subject matters including ‘How can Black perspectives be more accurately represented in the music industry?’ and ‘Regaining Control: A Sustainable Future for Independent Artists and
Labels’.
