Maidan

If you're the sort of person that enjoys finding out about what's really going on with the word and are keen to expand your knowledge of the current situation in Ukraine then you can't afford to miss the DocHouse screening of 'Maidan' on 26th November.
Acclaimed director Sergei Loznitsa's film about Ukraine's anti-government protests in Kiev's Maidan Square takes an objective stance on the troubles in Ukraine, spanning a ninety day time period which captures a selection of both peaceful protests and violence.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Raisa Sidenova a film historian specialising in Soviet documentary film and doctoral candidate at Yale University and Joanna Szostek, a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, UCL.
