The Picture Of Dorian Gray: A Restoration

The Alchemic Order – a Greenwich based theatre group with a passion for Victoriana – are presenting a new adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic gothic fable, inviting you to join the inner circle of Wilde’s most decadent characters. The piece is set in Mr. Gray's private townhouse in Greenwich, which will be transformed into a 19th century salon. Guests will be immersed in a theatrical evening of art, intrigue and distant pleasures, including a bespoke musical score and "interactive scientific innovations".
Running from Wednesday through to Saturday nights until 1st November, the critics have been rating the show highly with industry bible The Stage enthusing about a “passionate, inventive and most importantly, memorable.” spectacle, whilst the Islington Gazette said "Orange conjures an evening of startling invention. It is a labour of love that translates and showcases an impeccably high standard of acting. More than a theatre experience. More than a good night out."
