Structure Texture Future Exhibition At The Nunnery Gallery

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Bow Arts, an art education charity that provides affordable creative workspaces for hundreds of emerging artists, will be holding a preview exhibition titled Structure Texture Future at the Nunnery Gallery from 20th June until 5th July.
The preview of Structure Texture Future coincides with Bow Open Studios, an annual exhibition that features the best works from over 500 artists who have associations with the education projects of Bow Arts. The fifteen artists that will have their works shown at Structure Texture Future are Aglaé Bassens, G. Roland Biermann, Malina Busch, Stephen Buggle, Lizzie Cannon, James Lander of Those Who Wish to Remain Anonymous, Leah Miller-biot, Elizabeth Murton, Marcus Orlandi, Eugene Perera, Simon Rattigan, Daniela Sarigu, Suzana Tamamović, Nye Thompson and Adam Walker.
This year, the exhibition is curated and selected by Rosamond Murdoch, Nunnery Gallery Director, and guest curator Dr. Shahidha Bari, lecturer in Romanticism at Queen Mary University of London. Dr. Bari says that "the works selected here gather two interlocked themes: ideas of ruin and repair, as might be understood in the terms of the industrial and the natural."
Entrance to this exhibition is free of charge.
