Josh Ethan Johnson Captures The Underbelly Of Nyc In New Book
The musician and photographer who seeks inspiration in the faces and places left forgotten amidst the gentrification of New York City has unveiled a new book titled 'Endangered Species'. Created over sixteen years the project has seen him capture photographs of people and locations which are often deemed shabby, forgotten and unglamorous. He hopes to demonstrate that there is life in the undercurrent of a city which might look incredibly polished to the outside world. The concept for the book was originally developed and inspired during his youth in Minneapolis.
