Electric Roller Disco Hosted By Horse Meat Disco
With Electric Minds, Warm Music & Dalston Superstore
Saturday 11 February at Hackney Downs Studios

Times: 8pm – late (roller disco 8pm-12am)
Prices: £10/£12 Advance, £15 on the door. Roller skating and fun times all included!

This immersive all-nighter sees Horse Meat Disco taking the reigns of a glittering, apocalyptic roller disco set in the heart of an industrial warehouse space, Hackney Downs Studios.

The mammoth anti-Valentine’s bash sees Dalston Superstore dust off their roller-boots to keep the skaters suitably unbalanced, with their series of stylish temporary bars within the massive 80,000 sq ft space.

Lucky Chip will be on hand with gourmet street food, art installations come from the Netil House residents and Dalston Superstore, plus look out for dressing-up boxes, secret rooms and much more.

Once the clock strikes twelve, Electric Minds, Warm Music and Dalston Superstore give you those ‘stay up all night eyes’ as the after-party slings off its skates and slips into something a little more comfortable. Like Prince Charming to Cinderella, Floating Points offers the perfect fit as the Eglo main man and Planet Mu, Ninja Tune and Fabric favourite spins house, techno, soul and disco.

Bringing a little bit of that Dalston Superstore magic, the other boys will give you a good once over too, with The Lovely Jonjo (Hot Boy Dancing Spot), Dolan Bergin (Electric Minds), Rokk (Bodytalk) and John Sizzle (Gay Bingo) all on hand to relieve any tension.

Bring your partner, discover a new one, or find a third wheel. Happy endings guaranteed at the Electric Roller Disco where anything goes.

This is the second event from the young and ambitious Creative Network Partners team behind Netil House, Netil 360, Netil000 and Hackney Downs Studios. In December, they designed, curated and built the experiential 2 day sell-out festival Once Upon A Wintertime just 2 weeks after getting the keys to the new Hackney Downs space, and there’s lots more in the pipeline for 2012.

Creative Network Partners build creative communities, providing a far-reaching infrastructure that brings people together and redefines the way they work by creating an inclusive, accessible platform for people to operate on. With a vision to acquire and regenerate disused buildings across London and beyond, Creative Network Partners, aim to nurture and empower all people to create innovative businesses, who support and connect the pioneers of the global creative stage.
