England stutter, Germany looking good and good times to be had The Star – natural order restored.

Great time so far courtesy of the World Cup and were only 4 days into it!
Were showing all the games (upstairs and down, with blacked out windows upstairs!) and not doing much work as a result. Feel free to join us tell your wife/husband/boss youre going to Tesco for some milk. Remember to go back with milk though . . .

Friday, the England football team take time out from playing golf to face Algeria at 7:30pm. With any luck they will win so why not come down and watch it happen then stay on for On The Roof playing tropical indie, balaeric breezeblocks and electronic floorfillers. Entry, like a bird, is free.

Saturday from 12pm Bowerbird Booty Sale in our upstairs bar. Designer and vintage clothing, shoes, bags, books, bits n bobs and MORE! Grab yourself a bargain and some really rare finds. Theres a massive collection from a bunch of birds, sure to be something youd want to take back home to your nest! Ruth and Tamsin then join us from 9pm for Unskinny Bop.

Sunday is Fathers Day, why not treat the old man to a Sunday roast and a pint of ale while he watches the football. We can facilitate all three things!

World Cup at The Star: The big tournament is upon us! We’ll be showing all of England’s warm up games plus every game of the World Cup commencing on June the 11th. Our private screening room is available to hire for up to 10 people for 100/game for any match. This includes 10 free bottles of beer and 3 half time pizzas.
