Anyone familiar with house music, or rather the history of the genre, will know Robert Owen’s name well. Gaining the nickname ‘The Voice of House’ for his legendary status Robert is credited with pioneering the Chicago House sound back in the 80s and producing such classics as 'I'll Be Your Friend' to 'It's Over'. This will be a brilliant chance to catch Robert Owens singing live alongside some of his favourite classic tracks.

Joining Mr. Owens on this glance both back and forwards at the golden age of house will be young Italian producer Nicholas. At 25 years old, Nicholas has the kind of house sounds that you would more likely expect from someone twice his age. He can’t help make his army of fans wonder how he manages to make his sound so authentic, so that every edit, remix or production really sounds like it’s from the late eighties or early nineties, but then somehow capturing the sound of 2011. He is one of the key artists driving a fresh wave of interest in the classic house era and tonight he plays a special Live set into the early hours.

This isn’t the first time the two great minds have met, having earlier collaborated on the recent Needwant release ‘OneBody’. Owens supplied the vocal while Nicholas created the unforgettable slow house groove. Tonight is also the preview of the much anticipated re-edited Nu Groove collection that Nicholas has been working on for the past few months. Taking one of the most classic New York house labels of the late nineties and updating the sound for 2011. To be released on Needwant in December.

Joining the headliners will be another name familiar to those on the London house scene. Needwant label head Sean Brosnan who after three years of running Needwant has turned it into a sought after label in DJs record collections the world over, with over twenty specially crafted releases to date.
