George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic To Play Funk & Soul Weekender 2017

The Soundcrash Funk & Soul Weekender has announced the first acts in its 2017 line-up and has this year added George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic to headline. The weekender reutrns for a 2nd edition at Camber Sands, Pontins between 12th and 15th May 2017 and will feature Hot 8 Brass band, The Sugar Hill Gang, Mr Scruff and Norman Jay OBE with many more acts to be announced subsequently.

From Funk to Soul, to Latin and Afrobeat to Northern Soul, Ska and Swing, a touch of the right Hip Hop, House, Future Soul and everything in between, this new event on the festival calendar is an intimate affair, with a capacity of 3000, created for an audience that truly loves its music.
