Canadas Mathew Jonson & his renowned label Wagon Repair have become established stars in the techno firmament. Not content with running a label, producing high-impact 12?s and forming the group Cobblestone Jazz with fellow Canadians Danuel Tate, Tyger Dhula and The Mole; he has now teamed up with his music loving brother as Midnight Operator and offers a genre-defying DJ set like no other. Nathan Jonson aka Hrdvsion is part of a lineage that includes music-makers like Aphex Twin and Squarepusher and by melding his disjointed beats with Matthews slick and seamless fusion of techno, house and jazz, their music wizardry look effortless. Topping the Wagon Repair roster is fellow Canadian, Konrad Black and highly regarded disco DJ and producer, The Mole.

Swedish techno DJ Joel Mull, who has released on labels such as Drumcode, Kanzleramt and Music Man and also runs the label Inside Records will be shaking up the foundations of Room Two and celebrating his upcoming album, Sensory out next month on Truesoul. Unleashing a futuristic pounding techno set, Joel will be joined by a live performance from Aril Brikha. Also with an anticipated long player on the way, Aril Brikha is set to re-release his seminal debut album, Departure in Time featuring all ten of the album’s original tracks, plus a second disc with ten songs recorded between 1995-1999, most of which are previously unreleased. The two-disc package will be the first release on Brikha’s new label, Art of Vengeance.

Over in Room Three, label boss Kevin Griffiths will be inviting special guests, Federico Molinari, Bearweasel and Christian Burkhardt (LIVE) to celebrate five years of his superb UK imprint, Tsuba Records. A deep house and tech house imprint that’s put out 12-inches by Steve Lawler, Peace Division, Sascha Dive and many others – this January sees the release of a very special five year anniversary album.
