American dynamic DJ duo Soul Clap are putting on their raving shoes and teaming up with
former T-Bar visionary Jaime Ritchie to take the original YoYoYo 90s Dance Jam to the next
level in massive throwback warehouse rave favourite, Hearn Street Car park with some
extremely special retro guests.
As this incredible era of music, culture and fashion is being reborn around us in a burst of
neon colors and funky fresh patterns, Boston based DJs Soul Clap lead the pack with their 5
year running themed dance event, now with a rave twist. The event will feature Soul Claps
dream DJs and live acts from their teen raving days. So dig out your Reebok Pumps and
stonewashed elastic jeans from deep inside your closet and instead of walking to work
resurrect the running man because yOyOyO 90′s JaM rAvE e-DiTiOn is upon us and 90′s
themed music with 90s fancy dress highly encouraged.

First up, house music legend, Robert Owens showcases a rare live performance. The man
behind some of the finest classic house releases such as ‘I’ll Be Your Friend’ will bring his own
definition of 90s rave magic. Also on the bill, Danny Rampling, the man behind Shoom, the
first acid house club in London and renowned for introducing the Balearic vibe to the UK
after a fateful holiday to Ibiza in the early 90s. Danny is one of the founding fathers of
the Ibiza clubbing scene and subsequent acid house culture so a perfect headliner for this
retrospective event. Joining him will be another hugely experienced musical hero, Rob Mello.
Rob has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases and been
involved with many legendary imprints along his long career including Boys Own and Classic.
Furthermore Martin ‘Liberty’ Larner brings his flavours as a true veteran of the UK House &
Garage scene.

Soul Clap are the refreshing duo on everyones lips right now and the masterminds behind
the 90s jam series. The Boston based cheeky pair are branding a sound with a brush from the
past and in the process, creating some of the most refreshing grooves that these tired old
dance floors have heard in some time. Releases on Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels and a
forthcoming DJ Kicks compilation have meant everyone from Mixmag to Resident Advisor
has fallen in love with their originality and the duo have been traveling the globe and
playing clubs and festivals they only once dreamed about and carrying with them their
cherished suitcase full of good old fashioned vinyl.
Soul Claps 90s Jam London episodes have previously been sell out shows to a conscious East
London crowd. This time returning their dream DJs and live acts from their teen raving days,
they provide a radical solution to your bad case of the 90s.
