Comm•Une Return To Dance Tunnel

Dance Tunnel welcome back comm•une on 23rd October, boasting three acts not to be missed – Ptaki, General Ludd and Blip Discs.
Ptaki are Polish duo Jaromir Kamiński and Bartosz Kruczyński, hailing from the Polish capital city of Warsaw. Known for their debut 12", released in 2013 on The Very Polish CutOuts, that featured the popular slo-house anthem 'Krystyna'. They released their sample-based debut album 'Przelot' (meaning 'flight' in Polish), in June this year and it's been grabbing quite a lot of attention. An eclectic mix of disco, dub, tropical, house, hip-hop, Balearic and more, their fans include the likes of Julio Bashmore, Jamie XX and Jose Padilla.
General Ludd are Glasgow based duo Rich McMaster, who's originally from New Jersey, and Canterbury’s Tom Marshallsay. Having both met whilst studying Art in the Scottish city, they began by collaborating on interactive sound installations before their late night studio sessions lead to some promising material. They create 'club music with a crude and frenzied twist'.
Blip Discs boast 'an Afro-infused approach to twisted house and techno'. They may have only had two releases thus far (O'Flynn – 'Tyrion / Desmond's Empire' & Tom Blip – 'Wrong Guanco/Shekere'), but their sounds have been a staple in the sets of Four Tet, Bonobo, Gilles Peterson and Bradley Zero from the word go. They'll be giving you a glimpse of what the future holds for the label.
