British producer O’Flynn shares ‘Ashiko’, the latest glimpse into his forthcoming third album ‘Kairos’, due 17th July via his own Panthus imprint.

Following previous singles ‘Kelsier’ and ‘Sekete’, the new track introduces a brighter energy into the record’s expanding world. Propulsive rhythms, warm melodic detail and a sense of forward motion place it among the album’s most immediate moments, whilst retaining the textured, globally-informed approach that has become synonymous with O’Flynn’s work.

Since first emerging in the mid-2010s, O’Flynn has carved out a distinctive space within UK electronic music, releasing on labels including Ninja Tune and earning support from figures such as Four Tet, Ben UFO and Bonobo. With ‘Kairos’, he returns to the intuitive, sample-led processes that informed his acclaimed debut album ‘Aletheia’, drawing from field recordings, found sounds and fragments gathered through years spent travelling and touring.

Named after the Greek concept of an opportune moment, ‘Kairos’ assembles these collected impressions into a fluid body of work shaped as much by chance encounter as deliberate composition. ‘Ashiko’ offers another window into that process.
