Premiere: Big Hands – Louis H. Theme
“In the old city of Lakamha ancient tombs stand tall and ruined, woven with moss. Birds as old as time beat their wings over tropical forests; their cries bouncing off wet rock lassoed with carvings of Mayan symbols.”
For their first release of the year Oscilla Sound hand over the reins to Baroque Sunburst co-founder and Honest Jon’s team member Big Hands. Much like the rest of Oscilla Sound’s catalogue — which includes instalments from Significant Other, E-Unity and Wilhelm — intricate drum patterns and murky bass play a central role, seeing him explore organic textures, rumbling low ends and enchanting polyrhythms.
