Single Review : Tiga – Bugatti

If it was possible to use the word ‘dreary’ as a compliment, it’d be the word I’d chose to describe the melody on Tiga’s latest. Becuase it is bloody Dreary. ‘Bugatti’ has this kind of horrible melody, a miserable thing, that’s somehow still really addictive. Plus he’s shoehorned in loads of camp vocals about driving a Bugatti, and ended up making the best thing he’s done for ages. I can’t work out how he constructs this kind of chunky techno madness, but I’d like to think he uses ancient analogue synthesisers bigger than chest freezers powered by distilled glitter and finely cut up celebrity magazines.
