Premiere: Veronica Maximova – Who Cares

Belgian/Russian artist Veronica Maximova is gearing up to release her debut album Computerlove. Out 19th November via Berlin's VOITAX label, it's a startling piece of work from an creator who clearly has total command of her materials. By combining elegaic melodies and dreamlike synths with haunting drones and extreme vocal processing, Maximova creates uneasy contrasts that reflect the brutal paradox of terminal loneliness in a society that's never been more connected.
We're premiering the track 'Who Cares', which showcases one of Maximova's most chaotic arrangements and yet emerges as something approaching an honest-to-god pop song – albeit one cut through with a darkly romantic undercurrent. Stream it below:
