Premiere: Thodén – Signal On Baikal
There was a flickering light which danced and glimmered in the distance. It glowed a faint red in the dark night sky and cast a beacon of light outwards atop the ocean.
As the boat moved forwards through the waves it began to get closer and closer illuminating a path for which they could follow home. This was the signal on Baikal, it had been there for many years and had been the saving grace of many a lost soul. The red light began to pulse and flicker faster…
Thodén is set to release his debut album on Electroménager, a record which is as themed around material built for the club as it is deconstructed ambience. This is as much a listening experience as it is a heads down moment for the late night dancer.
