Premiere: Sedef Adasi – That Escape

The door was bolted shut, flanked by huge rusty padlocks from top to bottom. The space around them was damp, dark and unfamiliar, a mass of crumbling brick and scum smeared windows. They didn’t remember how they’d come to be here, much of their last few days was fragmented, a chaotic jumble of memories that couldn’t be pieced together. But how they had got here didn’t matter now, their only focus was on how they would escape…
For the next release on their Freeride Millenium imprint, label bosses Jorkes and Daniel Rajcsanyi have brouht together a wealth of talented artists for their first ever compilation, Queer Base. Taking its name from the organisation that the compilation is raising money for, all profits will go towards helping LGBTQIA+ refugees arriving in Austria to find social and legal housing, as well as provide them with legal support, German lessons and HIV/STI testing. Among the artists who have contributed tracks are Massimiliano Pagliara, Younger Than Me, Soulphiction, Zombies in Miami, Super Drama and our pick, the dark twisted grooves of BLITZ club resident Sedef Adasi.
