There was a voice in his head which told him to keep on going, to keep on pushing and to trust in himself. It had been a long time coming but a change was in the air and tide was slowly retreating. All he had to do now was believe, just a little while longer and then he might be free. This was to be a long, long night – the darkness swallowed all else in sight but somewhere that little voice was all that he could trust…
