Premiere: Imre Kiss – Time Well Spent

She stared at the clock hands, wishing that time would melt away. She found it difficult to just be in the moment, instead she’d fill her time with pointless activities, endless spring cleans and strange rituals. When she wasn’t doing, she was overthinking, so it helped to keep her mind preoccupied. At least that’s what she’d convinced herself. Whatever the task, for her it would always be time well spent.
After inaugurating the label back in 2018 alongside fellow producer Norwell, CRISIS Records boss Imre Kiss returns to his own imprint, this time for his first solo EP, Mer de Désir. Having previously released atmospheric house and techno musings on Lobster Theremin and its Mörk sub-label, these five tracks signal a different sonic direction, showcasing the Budapest artist’s love of Italo, acid, new beat and progressive house.
