Spun Out Agency bring together their roster for a compilation dedicated to the memory of Andrew Weatherall.
Spun Out Agency have rallied up their talented roster for a compilation dedicated to the sorely missed Andrew Weatherall, who was part of the agency for almost two decades.
The title is also a tip of the hat to the Guv’nor. More of that Frightful Oompty Boompty Music showcases the acid, techno and house sounds at the core of the roster, which Andrew would have described as “oopmty-boompty” music.
Made up of 18 tracks, with eight of the tracks also released as a two-part vinyl package, the compilation features music from Paranoid London, Fantastic Twins, Mehmet Aslan, Autarkic, Ruf Dug, Sean Johnston, and Manfredas, among many others.
Spun Out is a London-based artist booking agency, run by Caroline Hayes for over 20 years. She looks after a roster of DJs that like to colour outside the lines, including Optimo (Espacio), Ivan Smagghe, Josh Caffe, Man Power, Body Hammer and Ellie Stokes.
More of that Frightful Oompty Boompty Music will be out on 29th April via Spun Out.
