Premiere: Davis – Fugaz

Hot steam billowed out of the cafe’s kitchen, forcing those front of house to furiously mop the sweat from their brows. He sat by the window with his coffee and wiped the condensation from the glass so he could watch the streets activities. Every now and then he’d nod or raise his hand to wave as regular faces passed by the cafe; nothing much changed around here but these fleeting interactions kept him going.

Brazil’s ODDiscos co-founder Davis makes his return to Live At Robert Johnson with a new six-tracker titled Dance Peralta. The EP marks his third release for the label, an offshoot of the Offenbach-based night club, and sees the São Paulo-based producer dust off his TR-808, Juno and MS-20 for six tracks that match jovial synth riffs, rumbling bass lines and chunky drumwork.
