Human Endeavour Records release EP from Ambient Babestation Meltdown & Borai

Human Endeavour announce their first EP of 2025: a debut label outing from Ambient Babestation Meltdown & Borai.
The production pairing, whose musical partnership has birthed a string of releases on Optimo Music, Me Me Me and Ritual Poison, join forces once again for ‘Why The Tiger And The Monkey Are Sworn Enemies’.
Known for their excursions into scuzzy, cyberpunk and EBM electronics, this three-track EP chronicles the pair’s ventures into chugging grooves, wormhole acid and early 00s tech house à la Playhouse and Rework.
In signature style, Ambient Babestation Meltdown’s FX-soaked vocals take centre-stage across the package, ushering us in with the ritualistic vibrations and hypnotic rhythms of ‘Warm’.
Next ‘Waves’ takes us on a mindbending trip into the depths of acid electro driven by an arpeggiator sequence courtesy of Orbital’s old Roland JP-8000, before the EP wraps up with the crisp skipping beats and metallic synths of ‘Wait’.
South East London’s Ambient Babestation Meltdown and Bristol’s Borai are known together for their genre-bending, cyberpunk-infused records across labels such as Optimo, Ritual Poison and Me Me Me. Separately Borai is best known for his smash hit ‘Make Me’ with Denham Audio, and a long and storied career spanning jungle, house, dubstep and, more recently, hard house. Ambient Babestation Meltdown is known as the creative director of beloved Peckham hub Rye Wax, and for her chaotic and camp DJ sets at places like Field Maneuvers and Dalston Superstore.
