First Listen: Sidestepper – Come See Us Play

Joyous Latin rhythms, rump-shaking percussion, blues-y guitar, sky-kissing flute lines… yeah, this one's a winner alright.
Sidestepper are based in Bogotá. Until recently they were an electronic outfit, but for new album 'Supernatural Love' the band are chasing more of an organic sound, inspired by the great dance 'orquestas' of Colombia, Africa and the Caribbean. 'Come See Us Play' is your first taster, and it's one of the best things I've heard in a while.
'Supernatural Love' is out on Real World Records, January 29.
