The restaurant was empty on a quiet Tuesday night, there was little here but for the dim flickering candles and delicately placed tablecloths. A lonely waiter stood looking out upon the deserted streets outside and tapped slowly in time with the sombre music which echoed out upon a dusty old sound system. Sat behind a counter he wondered whether anyone would ever come. It was going to be a long evening as the rain fell softly against the glass front, it fell because the sky was sad.
Sumo is set to release a new EP on Sonar Kollektiv, a deep house inspired affair with a melancholy twist. It's captivating and somewhat enchanting in the most emotional of senses.
