Insomnia Music with TSHA

As we edge closer and closer to the possibility of club spaces opening their doors next month (!!!), we can’t help but reminisce about those hazy nights and early mornings spent on the dance floor with friends old and new (literally, some of them we just met in the smoking area).
It’s these twilight hours that have always fuelled London-based producer TSHA’s activities; it’s when she feels at her most productive. And we imagine there’s been a lot of late nights over the last few years as this productivity has taken her to new heights; as well as being hotly tipped as one to watch by Pete Tong, NME, Billboard and DJ Mag, her bright melodic grooves have earned her releases for Counter Records and Ninja Tune, and remix works for Foals, Throwing Snow and Lianne La Havas.
Following the release of her latest re-rub – BRONSON and Gallant’s ‘KNOW ME’ – TSHA shares her tracks for those late nights and early mornings, from peaktime in the club to the walk back home.
“I feel my productivity and imagination reaches its peak when it’s dark out, things are quieter and I can get into a flow more easily. I look back reminiscently of the moments that I have shared with people across dance floors around the globe, and it’s often these early hours that stay with me. The night is in full swing and everyone is enjoying a unique moment in time.“
Follow TSHA. TSHA’s remix of ‘KNOW ME (feat. Gallant)’, taken from BRONSON’s Remixes Nº.3 EP, is out now on Foreign Family Collective/Ninja Tune. Listen here.
Kicking things off with the legend Todd Terry. The acid house line takes me on a journey, reminiscing of non-stop dancing in a dark sweaty room.
