In Pictures: Bloc’s Winter Throwdown

Braving the frosty winter night last Saturday, I cycled over to what is slowly but surely becoming my second home, to get a good fix of techno from true purveyors of the genre. 

After Billy Nasty had warmed up the coat-donned crowd with a dark and thumping set, it was time for Regis to step up to the stage and pull more people into the room. 

With the temperature suitably raised and coats on the floor, it was time for Surgeon to step and show the eager crowd why he's been at the forefront of the UK Techno scene for the last ten years.

Reach for the lasers. 

After Surgeon received a much deserved applause, Bloc. resident Rubin mixed it up with a set that spanned from techno through to a good'ol bit of garage.
