The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out

One of my favorite, or my favorite bands. Morrissey’s voice is so haunting. This is the kind of music that really gets to you, I never get bored of it and it’s a real inspiration in terms of music & song writing.

  • Moodyman - Forevernevermore

I could have chosen from dozens of Moodyman tracks. He’s such a genius, most of his works stand out as classics records, and not many people can say that. So much soul!

  • Nagual - I Feel The Rhythm

Ron Trent is another God Father when it comes down to true house. From the first time that heard this track it never left my record box, it’s kind of the perfect hook.

  • The Cure - Boys Don't Cry

The Cure are another band that really hits my sweet spot. I’ve chosen one of there most known tracks, but still, what a song.

  • Beach House - Walk In The Park

This track comes from their album ‘Teen Dream’ from back in 2010, which I still listen to on repeat. They’re masters of emotion.

  • We Are Trees - Sunrise Sunset

I found this band on Bandcamp and fell in love with the drum programming. Live drums give such a swing to this track.

  • Chez Damier & Stacey Pullen - Forever Monna

Chez Damier, there you go. As a true house purist I was not allowed to not mention him!So many jams. His bass lines and drum programming are so driving and this particular track also has a very memorable hook.

  • Bonobo - Days To Come

I love this kind of blend of electronic & trip hop & soul. Bonobo is one of my favourite artists as he always innovates with each new album. His latest one is pure genius too!
