We've been trying to make this happen for a while now… and it finally has!

The first guest edit week long takeover of the new site comes from the Spencer Parker's great Work Them Records.

Here's a few words from the just stepped out of "hangoverama bar" – he was playing black discs, not just in there for weeks on end – label head: 

"Hello, good evening and welcome to the Work Them Records passive aggressive takeover of the mighty Ransom Note.

Over the course of the next week we’re going to be facting you hard with everything you would ever need to know about the label and quite a lot you probably don’t need as well. From the differences between Detroit and Berlin, the best record shops in Paris and what it's like to be a DJ as well as a published author.

This celebration of all things Work Them comes in the run up to our very first "Work Them Records Presents…" night at our beloved Dance Tunnel in that there London. Featuring head honcho (he contractually insists on being called that) Spencer Parker, the Parisian secret weapon, Mayashiba and Brooklyn's finest, Young Male, who will be performing liver than live.
