Her music is often constructed for the dancefloor yet the new album sees her meander through variations of electronica, idm and beyond.

Inês Borges Coutinho is set to unveil her first long form album on the San Francisco based imprint run by Josh Cheon. Violet is the Lisbon born and raised DJ, boss of Naive records, co-founder of Rádio Quântica, and mina resident. She has risen to fame in recent years with her fast paced selections and eclectic take on house, techno and beyond. Her music is often constructed for the dancefloor yet the new album sees her meander through variations of electronica, idm and beyond. 

The album is titled "Bed Of Roses" and is named after one of her favourite songs by Bon Jovi. It will feature then tracks which weave through a lineage of ambience, dark intrigue and fast paced sound design. Inês describes the record quite simply as follows:

“I wrote this music as a healing device that I hope can somehow help heal others too.”
