The XX have are to drop their third album, I See You, on the 13th January.

The group had been teasing the album's release the past week with 55-second untitled snippets via their "In The Studio" spotify playlist. The group are set to appear on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show this evening during which they are expected to perform live, as well as give an interview.

A couple of years ago one of the group's producers, Rodaidh McDonald, described the third album as having "a completely different concept" to the last two. Possible indications from their "In The Studio" playlist point to a range of artists, including Sade, Björk, Drake and Queens of the Stone Age.
