Synectics LP “The Purple Universe” to be Reissued

Rephlex Records is a revered institution within dance music, and for good reason. Providing a platform for Aphex Twin to showcase his pioneering sonics, the label has released the work of Squarepusher, DMX Krew and Luke Vibert to name a few of the legendary artists occupying its back catalogue.
Swiss duo Synectics produced the imprint’s 6th release – The Purple Universe LP – back in 1993, blending obvious psychedelic rhythms with Detroit-inspired percussion. Oft-overlooked, Musique Por La Danse have excavated this timeless artefact for re-release. Comprising of 8 mind-bending tracks, overflowing with bounce and groove, the LP is set to drop on November 23rd. Limited to just 300 copies, the remastered record features 3 bonus tracks previously excluded from the original CD release.
