Sicaria Sound team up with Mungo for new audio visual concept 'EX R1DS'

DJ and production duo Sicaria Sound have announced a new audio visual concept, ‘EX R1D3’, in collaboration with 3D animator Mungo.

Over six episodes, running from May to October, the pair will be joined in an animated ‘world’ by guests who like Sicaria Sound, will be presenting mixes from across the 140BPM spectrum.

In keeping with the realities of the world being locked down, the project was initially conceptualised around ‘taking a trip to nowhere’, representing the duo’s musical journey and paying homage to the beginning of their friendship: at the back of a lecture hall whilst studying Geography at university.

The first episode launches this Sunday May 23rd at 8PM BST with NTS resident re:ni joining them via the special drive-through setting created especially for Sicaria Sound and their guests to perform within. The following episodes will feature performances from Anna Morgan, EMA, CIMM, Boofy and a special guest who is yet to be announced.

Sicaria Sound AKA Ndeko & Imbratura announced that they would be calling it a day at the end of the year, with EX R1D3 marking one of the final projects from the duo; a grand finale after years of mixes, live performances and more recently productions.
