Sei A launches new ambient label and project under his own name, Andy Graham

Glaswegian producer Sei A has launched a new label ‘AG-Sounds’ and a new project under his real name, Andy Graham, which will serve as a space for him to experiment with ambient, classical electronic, techno and soundtrack material.
A departure from his techno-focused output as SEI A, the first EP ‘Method One’ features three beautiful ambient and contemporary classical compositions, two of which feature cellist Joe Zeitlin who has previously worked with Jonny Greenwood, Aphex Twin and Floating Points. These originals are backed up by a SEI A remix on the flip.
Though predominantly focused on Andy’s own output, there will be collaborative projects with friends in the future, and each release will be accompanied by a series of paintings, especially created by artist Calum Matheson.
Under his SEI A alias, Andy has become known for his melodic take on techno, releasing music via Turbo, Hemlock Recordings and Life & Death as well as maintaining a fruitful and long-running relationship with London-based label Aus Music.
‘Method One’ will be released on Feb 12th. Listen below…
