Ricardo Villalobos readies new EP of original material

Minimal techno icon Riccardo Villalobos is set to debut on youthful Italian label, Deset Music. The Chilean-born, Berlin-based producer is one of the most respected names in the game, forging a reputation off the back of his sleek composition and hypnotic sets. His upcoming "Mandela Move" EP draws upon the trademark style of Villalobos’ production, made-up of four drawn-out tracks. Trippy loops and twisted frequencies throughout, the EP marks the second release on the imprint, coming in after System of Survival’s "Nu Soul Era" twelve inch. Due for release in February next year, Villalobos’ latest work will come in the shape of two 12” vinyls.
