Ransom Note Records Announce New Ep From Smagghe & Cross

Following on from Fit of Body's woozy Healthcare EP, our next instalment in the Ransom Note Records odyssey comes from our good friends Smagghe & Cross.

Rupert Cross is a hugely talented composer who has worked on numerous film and theatre projects, and whose work has been performed by everyone from Marianne Faithfull to Kanye West. Ivan Smagghe is a fearsome selector and top-notch producer, perhaps best known for his week-long stint as Ransom Note guest dictator editor.

Having released their debut album MA earlier this year on Offen Music, the duo are back with the deeply peculiarTalking To Katz EP. Featuring vocals from Emily Evans and David of the Junto Club, these spooky dancefloor bombs are set to sprout tendrils in your record bag and become a permanent fixture.

Out 28th April, Talking To Katz is now available for pre-order on our Bandcamp. On 12" the release is closed out by a remix from Ruf Kutz star Glowing Palms, while the digital version seems him giving the same track a second work-over. Check out the psychedelic cat artwork below:
