Raime Announce ‘Tooth’ Lp On Blackest Ever Black

London-based duo Raime caused quite a commotion with their 2010 self-titled EP and 2012 full-length Quarter Turns Over A Living Line. Now, following three years of deep studio research, they're back with the follow-up, Tooth. The press release suggests that "the widescreen melancholia of their debut gives way to an urgent and focussed futurism." A fusion of art-rock and soundsystem sensibilities akin to Raime side-project Moin, but pushed even further so that these disparate elements become indistinguishable from one another. Below, stream the post-hardcore influenced 'Dead Heat', the first track to be taken from the album:
Tooth is out 10 June on Blackest Ever Black, pre-order here.
Live dates:
27 April – London, UK – Corisca Studios (DJ Set w/ Roly Porter)
14 June – London, UK – Birthdays (Live Set)
