Rinse FM DJ and Panorama Bar resident Paramida has revealed her debut EP, set for release on her own label Love On The Rocks.
Made up of two singles, ‘Dream Ritual’ and ‘French House 2000’, the 12" draws from the influences that feed into her sets — early 90s house, dreamy trance and progressive strains — and comes complete with two stellar remixes from Octo Octa & Eris Drew and Youandewan.
Seven years in the making, the release coincides with the lunar cycle and comes with a warning - 'not for explicit content, but DIVINE FEMALE ENERGY.'
A press release reads: "This energy is not about gender, but rather, about the creative and life-giving force within all of us. The Divine Feminine within you is wild, free and untamed. Unafraid to speak the truth, embrace sexual nature, and show up fully and authentically. Trusting intuition and allowing it to guide. We live in the cyclic rhythm of the moon, the seasons, and the wheel."
Paramida has built a fearsome reputation as a DJ, holding down residencies at Panorama Barre, Robert Johnson and Rinse FM. Her Love On The Rocks imprint celebrated its five year anniversary last year and has played host to artists like Fantastic Man, Khidja, Das Komplex, ELLES and Violet and Zombies In Miami.
