Paco Sala To Release New Cassette Album Via Night School

Typically excellent stuff from Glasgow's Night School Records – current home of the much loved Molly Nilsson. Whilst there's already been a fair bit of noise around the new Nilsson LP Zenith, finally shipping this November, Night School have been quietly moving forward, getting together what looks to be another strong release; Der Gast, the new album from Paco Sala, a duo made up of London-based producer Antony Harrison and Berlin-bound vocalist Leyli. On the preview track we've got for you, Leyli is channeling yearning Cocteu Twins-esque vocal over Harrison's mournfully paced synth pop. It's sad, lo-fi, and kinda beautiful.
