Mos Def To Perform ‘Black On Both Sides’ In Uk

Tickets have just gone on sale to see Mos Def perform his classic album 'Black on Both Sides' performed on 3 UK dates. The performances come as this year sees the 15th anniversary of the LP that shot Mos Def to stardom. Released on the seminal Rawkus Records, the combination of smart lyrics and jazzy production from the likes of Beatnuts and Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad have ensured the album remains a high watermark for hip hop to this day. With Mos planning a show that features the entire album, plus other killers from his long career, alongside a host of special guests (we're hoping Talib Kweli, but it seems a bit of a stretch…) this is a rare chance to catch some rap history – dates are as follows:
November 21st – O2 Acadmeny Leeds
November 22nd The Forum, London – Early Bird tickets available now here *since we started writing this story the early bird standing tickets have already sold out, so y'know, probs best not to delay….!*
November 23rd – O2 Academy Bristol
