Lungile Masitha EP to be released on Left Ear Records

The formidable record label has announced a two track EP from renowned SA artist Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala, who played with such iconic bands as Harari and Umoja. The release will feature under his studio alias Lungile Masitha and features two pieces of music which saw him collaborate with long term friend Jimmy Mngwandi to co-write and arrange the two tracks ‘Vuyani’ & ‘Makoti’. The release will be available on 12" from the 29th of January later this month and follows on from a string of well received releases from the imprint who have amassed a reputation for high quality reissues and surfacing hidden gems. 

Both tracks are upbeat and dancefloor ready, sung in a native Tsongan tongue at a time when Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala's name was under license to one of the major labels. Hence the alter ego.
