Kilchhofer Releases Mammoth Debut Album ‘The Book Room’

Switzerland's Benjamin Kilchhofer has released his mammoth debut long-player under his own surname via the mysterious Marionette. Over a colossal 70 minutes and 20 songs, The Book Room encompasses a swirling mass of modular jams evoking serenity and paranoia in equal measure.

Kilchhofer's first release since 2016's captivating split EP Acosta with Hainbach, also for Marionette, The Book Room was described by Pitchfork as "the ultimate music-as-drug experience, tipping the most quotidian experience on its ear. In The Book Room, unfamiliar worlds are right beneath our nose."
